Welcome to my blog!

Welcome to my blog! My name is Mariju Carpio. If you’re not sure on how to pronounce my name then you can just call me MJ. I have created this blog back when I have just finished my Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management. I have graduated as a Cum Laude. I know that majoring in the said course doesn’t seem difficult and honestly speaking, it really isn’t. It's like studying about the things that you're already interested in. I have taken it because of my desire to travel around the world. It’s the same reason why I have created this blog. I am hoping that in the future I’ll be able to fill quite a lot of pages with my adventures.

This blog had a different web address before. I’ve also written quite a few posts in it but I have deleted them because I feel like what was going on in my life back then wasn’t really that exciting. I decided that I will just resume writing on my blog when I already have a great story to share. Well, there still isn’t much going on in my life now but I feel like I am already on my way.

After two years of graduating from college, I’m not really travelling yet. I have spent my time taking care of an angel. I have a very jolly son. His name is Nevan Matthew Carpio. He likes to play, laugh, sing and dance a lot. He’s a bit more fun and louder than any other kids I know or I probably just see it that way because I’m his mother. It’s a wonder how he can get excited over the simplest things. I have been blessed to have been given the chance to see him grow from an infant to a toddler. If only I can, I would love to spend more years with him but now, I need to make sure that we are already financially stable one he starts studying. That’s only two years from now so I have to start saving.

I am finally going to start building my career. My husband, Niño Carpio, is very supportive as always. I’m writing again now because I would like to share my story on how I’m going to fulfill my dreams. Not having a high quality camera to use for blogging won’t stop me. I want my readers to see where I started. I’m not going to expose everything about my private life. Please note that I intend to write only about the things that I think may inspire my readers. I expect to have a few failures along the way. I also expect that it may take me a long time before I get there. It’s okay because I know it will all be worth it. If you’re someone who is also about to start building his or her career then I want you to know that we can do it. Just keep the faith. :)

Here is an old picture of my husband with our son during his college graduation.
